Umbrella Tree at Levens Hall from kate anderson on Vimeo.
Levens Hall being a carefully preserved Elizabethan house near Kendal, Cumbria, with impressive wallpaper, lumpy looking beds and a handsome wassailing vessel pride of place in the dining room. Walking the gardens I couldn't keep from giggling, and visitors all around were sharing a similar response to the comical topiary universe. I congratulate the person who thought to create such a garden and those that keep it's curves clipped and jolly.
